This demo runs a Ewe program
under your web browser’s Java virtual machine as a normal Java Applet. If
everything goes well a new Java Applet window will appear.
This version will restrict
the application pop-up frames to being initially sized to 240 x 320 so
you can see how the program would run on a PocketPC such as the Compaq
iPaq series. There are two other versions:
Make sure you close the current applet before starting the
new ones.
ü
An
unrestricted frame-size version that shows how the application would run on
a Desktop PC.
ü
A HandHeld PC frame-size version that shows
how the application would run on a Hand-held sized device.
This demo will work with a
browser that has a Java VM that is at least Java 1.1 compliant. This
includes Internet Explorer and Netscape but please note the
following:
The
Demo runs almost exactly as the native VM – but because it uses only
Java 1.1 classes there are a few small differences. The only noticeable
difference in the demo is that pens and brushes are not supported, so all lines
are single pixel width only. If you would like to view a Java 1.2 version you
can instead load http://www.ewesoft.com/Demos/eweDemo12.htm.
In order for this to run you will need Netscape 6.1 or you can use Sun’s
Appletviewer.
