This page runs the EveMaker application, which comes bundled with the Eve SDK, as an Applet using Sun’s Java Plug-In for your Web Browser. This Applet cannot access your file system so instead it provides its own virtual file system (which exists only in memory). Within that file system there are class files within the “evesamples” subdirectory. You can use EveMaker to create an .eve file within this virtual file system even though you will not be able to save it on your file system or run the created .eve file. It is possible to sign Java Applets to allow them full access to your computer but this demo is not signed.
The application will run in its own separate frame once initialized. However if you close this web page the Applet will automatically exit.
